{semi} wordless wednesday

hey y'all.....
you know what.....
today i could be speechless.....
i decided i couldn't live another day without my newly discovered le creuset
{thanks to the pioneer womans cookbook, you must have one for the perfect roast i convinced myslef}
so i went & bought 2 pieces....
and maybe some accessories
was told to "season" them....
i googled:
"how to season le creuset dutch oven"
i followed directions....
dutch oven came out okay.....
sauce pan......
not so much....
i know no life was lost-
but a lot of green was ......

i don't recommend rubbing down with peanut oil and putting it on the stove on med for 15 min!!!
**this was a predraft earlier yesterday. i am happy to say that after a quick trip to williams-sonoma, the help of "bar keepers friend" & a nice scrub brush, i am able to breath again....priase Him**

so, i present to you my latest addiction!
le creuset in kiwi ♥♥

  2. Cool I love good cookware. I also try many of PW recipes. Some are great and we go to again and again but others our misses. I will still try more though.

Daph again I could not get the link to work, has to be me. It said broken link. And highlighted the <a right after the beginning center. As soon as I learn to write html I will fix them myself and not bother you. I did not try the side one today.

  3. Thanks y'all! Just don't try to season yours and it will all be okay!

I don't know what is up with the link. Ever since it was made, the code I was emailed hasn't been right. I have to tweak it every.single.week. grrrrr You'd think by now, I'd know the exact problem with it:)

    It's fixed, again:)

  9. Thought we didn't have to season if they are enamel coated? This cooking business is so confusing at times! :)

  12. Oooh, this is good! We made a roast this weekend and found we didn't have a pot that quite fit the roast, so we used a giant roaster pan. This would be perfect!
