Home Tour Tuesday

Hey Y'all! Gosh, can you believe that tomorrow we will be 1/2 way through the first week of 2011? I can't believe how fast the days go by. It's sad. Before I know it, this school year will be over, my son will be a senior and my daughter will be in high school. Lordy Mercy. Treasure the moments my friends. Before long they will be a faint memory.

Home Tour Tuesday: Out with the old, in with the new. Show us your 1 room reno or remodel!

We  moved over the summer into our new home. I haven't really done anything in my scrapbook nook. {I have only sat up there like 10 times in 6 mths so it's not top priority} The Mr has a friend who is in construction & just made him a really cool wooden rack/stand for all the YOLO boards & is going to make me something when we are ready. I'm not exactly sure what I want yet. I like open space. I don't like to be cramped. I want to be able to see what I have easily.  {so display is a plus} Do you have a scrapbook & craft are? If so, I'd love your input on the design. There are just many other things that I'd like to put that money into, like THIS, but like the scrap table, it's on my list & will come in time. {i hope!}

Here are a few ideas that I have come across that I like. I may pull a little from each. Just not sure yet. Each has an element or 2 that I like.

GRRRRR-I can't load anymore images, it appears that I have to BUY more space?? Anyone gotten this error message? BALLS! It's says they are stored in Picasso. If I delete some, the images will disappear from my blog!! Guess this is what I will work on today! humph
Oh well, you can see my space here, although it's all clean from the Christmas wrappings.

Link up y'all! Blog your HTT & up below with that post. {all unrelated to home tour will be deleted, sorry}Be sure to grab our badge so others can get in on the fun. Shannon & I are thrilled that you have come back to play in 2011!

  2. I also struggle with my scrapbook space. Right now I'm having to share with Cate in the office/playroom/scrapbook room. But I feel that until you're totally happy with the space, it's hard to become "inspired" to actually scrapbook!! Anyway, i'll be eager to see what you end up doing! Have a great day!

  3. Those are some great inspirations! I am looking to redo my guest room/office and make it into more of a craft room/office/guest room. (I have to somehow figure out how to keep my sleeper sofa in there) and not take away from the actual "craft room/office" elements!

Love the room with the desk in the middle! Very cute and different!

    Happy 2011 - I can't believe it's going by so quickly!!!

  4. I think you are so lucky to even have a 'scrapbbok' space...LOL! I am jealous. I think we would need to buy a bigger house if I had a room for all of my 'hobbies.'

  6. Hi!
I can't quite remember how I stumbled upon your blog, but I did and I love it!! I just wanted to let you know and say hello. All of these rooms are really inspiring. I have empty wallspace in my bedroom and I really like the three shelves in the "pink" room. I think I may do something like that. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to seeing pictures of your room when it's complete!

  16. Wow, they are all so great! I have a hard time just picking one. I would love to have my own private space. I might try and work on that. Good luck!

  17. very beautiful! i am so jealous! i really do need a space of my own too.

as far as the photo thing...i have flickr and you can upload up to 200 photos for free and then after that you have to pay a fee. it is only like $22 a year. a very wise purchase because i have uploaded so many photos in the last year.

  20. Love those photos! My friend recently had to buy more space too on blogger. Have you tried using Photobucket? Shannon taught me how to use it for my post pictures.

    Have a great week Daphne!

  21. That is EXACTLY what I am trying to work on too!!!! AND I need more inspiration. Those were good ideas, but I'm not sold on any one design yet. My dad retired this year is planning to build me something, but I don't have a set idea to give him to draw up some plans. Don't you just hate indecision! ;-) Once you get your photo issue resolved, I would LOVE if you could post more! Thanks!!!

  23. I want to pay someone to come do this for me.

Okay - I am having the SAME image issue!! GRRRR I have deleted stuff too, and it still won't clear. The blogger help said something about the browser cache - which I have emptied multiple time. Please post if you find a solution.

  29. I love the 4th picture for a craft room. But with my house the space I have is more like the last one.
A friend of mine mentioned last month getting the message of needing more space for pictures.

  30. I am absolutely adoring the pink room! How neat would that be to be a craft room. Ohh now I am dreaming of moving out of this apartment into a fabulous home and doing a craft room first!
