NO WHERE NEAR WORDLESS WEDNESDAY!!

humph!

this is how my dr appointment went down....
the mr and i drive 45 min a few cities away for appt.....
were an hr early cause someone didn't set their watch back....
{i'm not saying any names me }
although he had on one, he said "i was just doing what you said, i figure you knew what you were talking about" HA
we go in sit and wait......
i'm abt to hyperventilate.....
heart racing.....
breathing hard......

dr comes in....
starts talking about results....
says "I heard you were concerned"....
"there's no reason for concern, your heart is fine"
fine.... FINE... FINE......F I N E...FINE?
what do you mean fine?
i have dead tissue caused by a possible heart attack!
{so miss nurse , 2 of them, said on friday via phone}
if i was fine, i am not now!!

{not sure what miss thang is wearing here, but i like her anger!}

he breaks it down....
all the way down....
he is pretty speechless when the mr. and I proceed to explain to
him what had been told to us....
i talked first and then had to call back &
got another one on speaker so he could hear her...
i really though i was hearing her incorrectly.....
nope.
anyway-
he once again, doesn't really know what to say,
he is a great man and ofcourse couldn't say
WHAT AN IDIOT...
i'm sure that's what he wanted to say:)
he tried to break it down and see where she could have gotten such from-
seems there was a shadow but it's normal with breast tissue he said....
it showed on the before & after meds had been administered....
anyway, he tired to make sense of it all but what's done is done....
moving on.....

this is how i was feeling at this point....
i was furious!!
i had wasted almost 4 entire days trying to figure out HOW in the world
i had prior damage.....
trying to understand how i'd survive with dead tissue
{it's actually ok, you'll live, lol}
the unknown...
will i see my kids grow up...
see my grandkids......
play tennis....
run again...
celebrate my 75th wedding anniversary.....
have a heart attack if i got excited....
get the picture?
i think i took 10 yrs off my life in the past 102 hrs.

ahem.....
lawdy lawdy lawdy
thanks for your thoughts/prayers/emails.....
XOXOXOXO

so, next step is to see a GI...
he is thinking that may be the next route...

til then...
CHEERS GIRLS!

ps-be sure to check back later today cause i am going to post a giveaway that you
DO NOT WANT TO MISS!!

  2. Sweet friend .. I'm so happy to hear all is well. If someone is not a doctor - they should be a little more careful on what they say to patients - especially over the phone and before the week-end! I say this calls for a glass or two of wine (red is good for the heart), and a spa trip - to regain those 10 years back... hugs my friend.. HHL

  3. Good afternoon and good gracious! I am so relieved for you and am singing praises that you are allright! What a wonderful thing to know.

    It's unfortunately that this misinformation was given out to you in such a manner and that the nurse didn't know any better. That said, it's time to celebrate and enjoy!

    My best to you on this new day!

    Warmly,

    Elizabeth

  6. Pure craziness. Trusting you will find the right answers soon. I can't imagine stressing over the wrong info, then adding the heart thing, then adding the stressing over stressing...sheesh it's a wonder you can type?!
    Keep up posted. Praying.

  8. Science and its interpretations are imprecise, and because of this, you worried needlessly. But perhaps the worry-filled days gave you time to reassess what is important in your life.

    I am SO happy for you. Revel in the good and proper diagnosis.

    xoxo
